The Equator Marathon (42 km)
Our marathon distance is (as far as we know) the only marathon in the world that crosses the Equator, offering runners an unforgettable experience.
Participants will embark on a remarkable journey through the awe-inspiring Queen Elizabeth National Park, starting at the Equator and making your way towards Kasese town, where you will venture into the foothills of the breathtaking Rwenzori Mountains. This route showcases the stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity that make Uganda a truly remarkable destination.
The route is internationally certified by the World Athletics Federation.

The Kilembe Half Marathon (21 km)
Taking runners into the foothills of the Rwenzori mountain range, our half-marathon route has garnered global recognition, having been named one of the most scenic half-marathons in the world by USA Today.

The 10 km run
Our 10 km route offers a scenic tour around Kasese town, ideal for beginners and seasoned runners alike. Experience the vibrant energy of the community as you navigate through its bustling streets and charming neighborhoods. With a mix of urban scenery and the Rwenzori Mountains as a backdrop, this route promise an unforgettable running experience for all participants.

The 5 km Vibes Run
The Vibes Run is a 5 km dash through the vibrant streets of Kasese, set against the stunning backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains. This run is ALL about vibes. Whether you jog, dance, or walk your way to the finish, this run is all about good energy and unforgettable moments.
NB: There is no cash prize for this category either – just pure fun.
