Registration & Entry
All runners must register online and complete payment to secure their spot. Our registration opens in February 2026.
When you have completed your registration and payment, you’ll receive a Confirmed Entry email — please keep it safe! You’ll need it to pick up your race kit.
Entry Policy
- Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Registration is only confirmed once payment is received.
- For any registration issues, email us: hello@rwenzorimarathon.com
Kit pickup
Kit pick-up will happen in both Kampala and Kasese. The exact dates and locations for 2026 will be shared closer to race day, so please check back on this page regularly for updates.
What to expect
- Traditionally, we begin kit distribution in the last two weeks leading up to the marathon.
- We only do official pick-ups in two locations:
- Kampala – usually at Forest Mall, Lugogo
- Kasese – always at The Arena, near the start/finish line
We occasionally organize pop-up pick-ups at select events or running club activations — but you should plan to collect your kit from either Kampala or Kasese.
✅ Remember to bring your Confirmed Entry email or receipt (printed or digital) when collecting your kit.
What’s inside your race kit
Every kit includes: Your official race shirt, other goodies and a sealed envelope containing: your race bib (number) and 4 safety pins to attach your bib to the front of your race shirt.
Your race bib is what links your name to your time — so take care of it!
- Do not fold, bend, or damage the bib — the timing chip is embedded in it.
- Wear it on the front of your shirt, clearly visible at all times.
- If you don’t wear your bib, or if it’s damaged or unreadable, your result may not be recorded.
We’ve seen runners miss their official time due to folded or missing bibs. Don’t let that be you.
Are there any rules?
No race without rules! Most of them for your own safety. The main ones to take note of:
- You must be 18 years or older to participate.
- You must be in good physical health and ready for the distance you’re running.
- No pets are allowed on the course.
- Always follow instructions from run officials, marshals, and police.
- The organizers reserve the right to use photos and recordings from the event for media and promotional purposes.
