It’s been a few weeks since the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon 2025 and, truth be told, we’re still recovering. The legs are not okay, the inbox is still full, and we’re not entirely sure if some of the marathon crew has slept yet. But before we wrap up the madness and start dreaming up 2026 (spoiler: we already have), we need to say something important:

To every runner, sponsor, volunteer, cheer squad, DJ, photographer, boda rider, marshal, and person who handed out bananas on Kilembe Road – we see you. You made this event unforgettable.
You came from 36 countries. You crossed finish lines. You crossed time zones. You danced, sweated, supported strangers, and turned Kasese into a global running village. We’ll never stop being grateful.
Special love to Tusker Lite for keeping things cold and fun, to Standard Chartered for backing our prize money, to Coca-Cola for the hydration, to Britam for supporting everyone's recovery, to KIA for the lead cars, and to UCC, the Ministry of Tourism, Explore Uganda, Uganda Airlines, and Uganda Tourism Board for making the impossible possible. And of course – to the people of Kasese – thank you for welcoming the world with open arms.

If you haven’t already, go find yourself in the official race photos. Whether you’re floating up a hill like Kipchoge or lying in the grass post-finish line questioning life—there’s a photo for you.
And yes, official race results are live too. Go check your time, see how your crew did, or find out who that random guy in Crocs was.
Finished the race? You can now download your finisher certificate on the results page. Frame it, post it, or send it to that cousin who said you’d never run 21km. 🏅
If you missed picking up your kit, or you ran virtually and want your medal, you’re in luck — starting Tuesday, September 9, you can pick up from Station Xpress at Forest Mall in Kampala. Just don’t forget to bring your receipt or confirmation email. We love you, but no proof = no kit.
What's next?
Our little mountain marathon is hitting a milestone. On August 22, 2026, the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon celebrates its 5-year anniversary. And you better believe we’re going big. More runners, more chaos, more Kasese. It’s going to be a birthday party worth training for.
Thank you, again, for being part of this madness. Whether you ran 42.2 km or just shouted “you’ve got this!” on the roadside – we appreciate you more than you know.
